WRITE A SPOOKY TALE. HEAR IT COME TO LIFE.
Submit a spooky tale of 1,000-3,000 words, set in Vermont that reads like a ghost story told around a fire, on the theme — Unnatural Nature. Vermont writers are invited to invoke the creepy, scary, and spooky elements of nature, however they interpret that prompt. We hope to receive original spooky stories that feature roots, fungi, exposure, environmental realities, the elements, and more.
To submit, email your story as an attached word document to info@bridgesidebooks.com by September 1st.
IF YOU WRITE IT, IT WILL COME ALIVE!
Actors Kathryn Blume and Patrick Clow will bring selected spooky stories to life. Gather close as we invite the roots to come alive, uncovering the depths of reservoirs and consciousness of fungi beneath our feet. This theatrical storytelling event will feature haunting original stories from several local authors. DON’T MISS IT!
