Elisabeth Blair launches first in a series of online, self-paced course

Elisabeth Blair is a poet, editor, educator, and multidisciplinary artist who has spent years volunteering for BWW in the past. She’s also the creator of lullabies and alarms, a subscription newsletter and online school, both devoted to teaching the craft of poetry. And after teaching workshops in person and over Zoom for many years, she’s just launched her first online, self-paced course:

Our Liminal Minds: Writing From Our Own Galactic Outer Rims

This class introduces the practices of freewriting, improvisational writing, automatic writing, “spirit” writing, and “trance” speech (these latter three sections being tame interpretations which anyone can try), and the wonders and oddities of the hypnagogic mindscape (the experience between waking and sleep).

To make it as accessible as possible, there are two versions, prices are sliding scale, and there’s a waitlist for fully funded spots.
