Writing “The Daddy Chronicles” helped Jayne heal.
Jayne Martin led a BWW Micro-fiction Workshop last January, when her flash memoir “The Daddy’s Chronicles” was preordering.
“The Daddy Chronicles – Memoir of a Fatherless Daughter” is composed of flash vignettes that offer an intimate look at how her absent father informed her adolescence / adulthood, and ultimately shaped her into the fearless woman she is today.

Jayne’s writing career began with a twenty-year stint writing movies for television. Her credits include “Big Spender” for Animal Planet and “A Child Too Many,” “Cradle of Conspiracy” and “Deceived By Trust” for Lifetime.
She has been the recipient of the following honors: Fall 2013 Women-On-Writing Flash Fiction Winner; 2016 New Millennium Writings Flash Fiction Finalist; 2016 Vestal Review VERA Award; 2017 Pushcart Nominee; 2018 Best Small Fictions Nominee. 2019 Best Micro Fiction Nominee.
“Suitable for Giving: A Collection of Wit with A Side of Wry,” her book of humor essays, was published in 2011.
“Tender Cuts,” her collection of Micro-fiction, from Vine Leaves Press was published in 2019.
“The Daddy Chronicles,” a flash memoir, was published by Whiskey Tit on March 15, 2022.
